Custom-built Mamaku Cattery Rotorua is ready to accommodate your cats. Send us your enquiry about dates and availability. We have a maximum of 12 cats in our care at any time to ensure the utmost care is provided for all of them.

Costs explained

  • We charge $18 per cat.

  • We operate like a hotel: checkout is by 10am otherwise a half day fee ($9) will be applied. 

  • Cash or online banking to be paid at time of collection.

  • Pet vaccinations are essential. 

  • $5 will be charged (per day) if medication needs to be administered to your cat.

  • If pick ups/drop offs are required, please email Rachel to discuss.

More than one cat? 

  • Take $1 off for each extra cat per night.
    eg. if you have 2 cats boarding at Mamaku Cattery, they will be charged at $17 per night each.

Monday to Sunday: 8am - 10am and 4pm - 6pm

Our story

Rachel

Your feline friends are welcome to our little boarding cattery in Mamaku, Rotorua. Your host, Rachel, will ensure they are comfortable during their stay here at Mamaku Cattery Rotorua. 

Rachel has a background working in the vet industry (people-facing) so has great general knowledge and experience dealing with animals (and humans). Creating a cattery has allowed her to continue offering a service to the community, work from her home, and draw on her previous knowledge of running a kennel in Rotorua.
